Decoder Tester
We often have a need to test decoders so it was suggested we should design something basic and simple for our needs.
What started out as a basic decoder tester for 6 pin and wired decoders evolved over a few months into the product you see here
The decoder tester features solder pads and screw terminal blocks for attaching pre-wired basic function decoders (motor and directional lighting, NEM651 6 pin socket, NEM652 8 pin socket, NEM662 Next18 socket, NEM660 21pin socket, Plux8/12/16/22 socket and the new EU24 / Next28 socket
The PCBs were recieved from the PCB manufacturer with the NEXT28 connector already fitted, but the rest of the components are hand soldered. We had the minimum order of 10 boards made, and we are offering the remainder here. All testers are made to order and owing to the lead time for some components it can be as much as 4 weeks to make one up.
